The Fourth TED Talk we did was the one about cognitive surplus and how it will change the world one day. What I took away from this video was that the excessive thinking the world as will define an era that will be one of the greatest of all mankind. I feel this "cognitive surplus" has a very clear limit grounded in our imaginary. I need to know what I'm able to do decide that it worth investing my free time into it. In other words this world of opportunities should be somewhere in my mind and should get there this or that way. This connects to the world because it is up to the world to use this “cognitive surplus.” It connects to me because I have free time but I use it on things that I can see and feel and taste. His speaking technique was also not the greates because he stuttered a lot and repeated himself a lot. This not so great speech doesn't help his cause that I am questioning.

TED Talk 3: Daniel Pink
For our third TED Talk, we watched Daniel Pinks presentation on how the right brained people of the world will ultimately define society in the new conceptual age. What I took away from this video is that people who can think outside the box will create this new age of conceptual thinking. His technique was not ignite and was sort of Pecha Kucha. I say sot of because it was a combination of the two because he shot out facts time after time that kept getting more inspirational and emotional. The effective techniques that make this possible is that he never stopped and always had a new idea that was incredibly motivational and supported by facts. What matters in the video is that right brainers will be more helpful to society than left brainers because as technology advances, we will have more and more machines to do the logical work for us. It affects me personally because when I took the test to determine the side of my brain that I use more, I had 52% left brain and 48% right brain. I wonder if this means that I’m not going to be as important to society even though I have only a 2% difference. This also affects the world because it will define what we place our importance on.

TED Talk 1: Sir Ken Robinson
The fist video that we watched for our TED blogs was Sir Ken Robinson. He chose to have his talk about the education system and how it has been suppressing creativity. What I took away from this video is that instead of helping kids learn in the manner that best suits them, we tell them to calm down and get back to work. His style was very Pecha Kucha because he did not have that slow building to a maximum point; instead, it was very rhythmic and very organized ideas in a very set order. His effective speaking techniques were the jokes that he made now and again to keep the audience on their toes. He also used real life success stories to support his ideas. I feel this whole video mattered as well because he kept making great points throughout it. This video connects to me personally because I see people everyday who could use that kind of help with the creativity that they have bottled up inside. The world needs to learn from this motivational talk and change this system that ruins children’s future.
